What is Climate Crisis Café?
Climate Crisis Café is a conversation-based workshop hosted by empaths for empaths. The goal of these workshops is to foster a safe space for people struggling with climate anxiety to talk openly about it with other, like-minded individuals.
These workshops borrow ideas from arts-based therapeutic practices, mindfulness activities, and the research in this area. They are fuelled by coffee, tea, and sometimes cookies (if we’re feeling fancy)!
Disclaimer: These workshops are not hosted by licensed therapists. They are meant to foster a safe space for conversation amongst concerned community members.

Don’t just take our word for it! Hear from previous attendees…
"Both Mallory and Nolan have a gift for listening, a gift for speaking softly but with intent, and a gift for engaging other human beings with love and concern. What better qualities from a team facilitating climate crisis cafés. I can tell you that I was fully impressed with their sessions (I attended two of them!)" - Simon, University of Toronto
"Since I work in the climate and environmental sector, it can be really easy to get wrapped up in the negativity and fall into a sense of climate doom. This café was such a refreshing change from that. Mallory and Nolan both lead with so much empathy, and they created a space where I felt genuinely heard and validated, while also leaving the conversation feeling more hopeful and grounded.
They’re both incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out to me most was how warm and welcoming they are. I’d highly recommend attending a Climate Crisis Café to anyone looking for a space to process how they’re feeling about the climate crisis, connect with others, and come away with a little more hope." - Shuchita, WWF Canada
